Proving Recovery Is Possible After Tragedy

Hello friends near and far!

I am Roseth. You can call me Rose because it’s beautiful, delicate, and full of thorns, like me. You will see my first name everywhere on my social media platforms, as Carolyn, but here I will use a short form of the middle name my mother gave me, Rose.

Endurance. Thriving through the storms of life and finding peace in the process. These are my definitions of success. What is yours?

My mission is to motivate, inspire, and help others heal by discovering their own definition of success so they can live to their highest potential! Through my own pain and loss, I have gained tremendous perspective.

I am a professional working in the human sciences sector as a social worker helping to enrich the lives of vulnerable individuals with addictions, homelessness, and mental illness, as well as children, youth, families, and persons with disabilities, overcoming their own struggles and barriers to achieving personal best. My education includes Office Administration and Addictions Studies, a Child and Youth Care Counsellor Diploma, a Bachelor of Child Studies Degree, and a Peer Support Certification. My education, professional, and personal experience have gifted me opportunities to see tragedy up close where I have gained immense compassion not only for my own life circumstances but the lives and circumstances of others.

From my sociocultural lens, I view life on a deeper, more profound level, which has prepared me to help others live their own lives with purpose, joy, and deep gratitude. I am also a writer, speaker, facilitator, life coach, and aspiring author. Let’s find peace and serenity together and achieve our personal success stories.
